Novemberers' sweet sixteens for sweet teeth!

Studies are pretty intense this year and therefore, my friends' sweet sixteens cannot be celebrated on the right day, considering that an exam alwayyyys fall on their sacred date. Today we decided to gather everyone to cheer for our "novemberers"'s sweet sixteens! I was a bit out of idea for their presents so I bought a little something and added a few rich, buttery cookies to embelish their gifts.

(Please excuse the image's bad quality, my lightening was awful)

Morover, I am doing a layer cake. For their birthdays. For the second time. Hoping that my cake decorating would be better than my first attempt. *grin* Weeeell, it didn't turn out so bad!! What do you think?

I made an oreo-themed black chocolate cake with chocolate layers and oreo frosting (I bought a Betty crocker "fluffy white mountain" frosting and unsweetened it with milk. Then, I added crushed oreo cookies) The smell of oreos was incredible!
Here's the recipe for the cookies, I'll post the cake's recipe later!
